Had KL78s on my FL1 about seven years ago. Grip was overall very good, especially when pulling the van off a muddy field, but I found them a little noisy compared with the Goodyear ATs which were fitted when I got the car. I seem to remember the tyre wear wasn't that good at the time, 18,000 miles from new ( 8.5 mm ish) to 3mm when I sold the car.

Yes I have them, fitted them last year at AJS as a replacement for the Pirelli Scorpion Zeros. Overall on-road performance seems good, at least as good as the Pirellis. I wouldn't say that they are particularly noisy.
I don't believe so, they are the replacement for the UHP, which I don't think were M+S. Andy @AJS advised that fitting winter tyres would be sensible, so that's what I did, and I can't tell you how they perform in winter. |

Recently been reading a similar thread on the D3 forum, as Nick said they get a good review, didn't realize they were M+S though. FL2 SD4 Metropolis Auto Santorini Black / ivory completely stock.

I had Grabber AT on my Disco3. I found that they were really good off road and not too bad on road. Whilst from new they were not too noisy, it's worth knowing that as they wear they do get much more noisy - to the point when I had to jack up the vehicle to check that I hadn't got a worn wheel bearing. There are similar complaints on the Disco3 website from others saying that they get noisy when worn, so it does seem to be a trend.

The General Grabber GT works very well on the Freelander, as it does on all other Land Rovers.

I am very pleased with my General Grabber GTs from AJS. Far quieter than worn Wranglers and performance so far after about 4000 miles is excellent. - 2007(57) XS Auto, Rimini Red, Alpaca Leather.
