Not at all - exactly what I would expect to see.
I've got winter tyres fitted to my freelander and my Audi S3.
The last heavy snowfall we had 4 or 5 years ago changed my mind regarding having a set. I had an Audi A4 quattro at that time which with winters fitted, you were able to accelerate flat out on snow with no wheelspin and barely any ABS intervention when doing an emergency stop.

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Stornoway Grey

That's exactley what I would expect to see as well. But they never show a 4wd drive car on winters, which would be unstoppable.

I was going to put a set of winters on my A3 S-Line black, but as I only have just over 4 months left on the lease I won't bother.

Just can't wait to get rid of the unreliable peice of crap. Unless I am forced, I'll never have an Audi again! Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

true, once you get slippage on those systems there's not much that will recover the situation

A comparison with a "proper" full time 4x4 system vs front wheel drive would have been more interesting. Suppose this test will sell more winter tyres though Laughing
