I think most on here would recommend fitting an extra earth cable from the battery to starter motor,it seems to cure a lot of things. |

My 2007 TD4 used to do that but very infrequently. I would insert the key fob and nothing would happen. I had to then eject it and re-insert and all was OK except the trip computer had reset to zero.
