Jo, I live in SE10, but haven't got a LR! If you don't require an 'official' LR garage, I recomend Park Row garage in east Greenwich, nr the river. I have seen LR vehicles in there. The nearest official indie, I am awre of is down in Kent, with lots of recs on this site, Ian |

JLC in Herne Hill are official and will do a good job BUT they are not cheap. Personally I would not go near the one in Kent. Although I have not used them for years, since back when they were possibly the worst service people in the country (would you fit a set of spark plugs without gapping them?) the last time I used LR Recovery the driver advised me not to go there!

Another vote for JLC - used them a couple of weeks ago and had a good experience. |

I've switched to an independent LR specialist now (car's nearly 8 yrs old). Authorised service wanted £500 odd for new power steering pipes. My new found garage did it for £150. They also saved me replacing shock absorbers (authorised service people said one was leaking and I should replace both) - there was nothing wrong with them apparently.
