Not rattled at all dear Athelstan, why on earth would I be?.....I deal with far worse than you on a daily basis...certainly I'm not offended by your ignorance either. For the record, I have only ever heard of a quiet clear night in context....did you mean 'quite' per chance? You don't need to use big and clever words as often as you do when challenged...just stick to plain English dear boy! Let everyone know what exactly your point is, and you stand far less chance of being mis-interpreted/mis-quoted.

You are indeed a: Demented patronising soul, Delusional of you're own self importance, Defensive of your own limited lexicon, and Discredited by the authorship of your own script. |

Indeed...quite so! You have accurately described yourself to an absolute tee!! Cheers (or Beers) Hurrah for the legacy of MT.!!! Clearly, you have lost all sense of rationality living over there in the mountains, along with sensibility it would seem! Notwithstanding that your Excellency lost the debate by resorting to personal insults some time ago...not very professional from a 'learned Academic' now is it? I now await your (invariable) implementation of Godwin's Law in earnest dearest superior intellectual.....go on,you know ya wanna... Meanwhile in the real world, just a few beheadings in Iraq to report......nothing much to get excited about I guess.... So due to the intoxication of your own self importance you see the stupidity of your first response and initiate a fast edit.

Rightly so.....It would top their miserable ratings. I'm surprised that they haven't commissioned Shami of Chakhrabati fame to oversee a full Public inquiry into the comments, just *in case* they are deemed 'offensive' (which given that her sister now presents the News at One, will probably be the case to some remote viewer, somewhere in Outer Mongolia (or Reading/Switzerland)...remember Doc, where's there's blame etc etc

Whilst not wanting to get involved in this debate, or indeed the WC, please be advised that Shami and Reeta are not only NOT sisters, they are not even related.
