Headrests

This is probably going to sounds like a silly question but today I tried to remove one of the front headrests but I couldn't. Laughing
I could only get them up to a vcertain height but they wouldn't actually come out. Does anybodu have any idea how to remove them. Is there something else to it or am i being really stupid?
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
John Cool

i'm not sure but isn't there a clip in the plastic where the poles go into which needs pushing in? Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Tried that, you have to push that in to move them up and down but they only came up so far instead of coming right out.

sorry i was meaning the other pole, not the one for normal adjusting, on the side i think the is one you need to use something to push in. Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

It's a two handed job Exclamation Embarassed Seriously, you have to push in the 'normal' height adjusting button at the same time as pushing in the opposite button (this one is the same dia as the plastic moulding). The headrest just lifts out then. Same for rears. It's easy once you know how, but a pain while mastering it. Forgot to say that the shafts are heavily Vaselined, so make sure you don't wipe them onto your seat coverings Exclamation Exclamation Exclamation Was GS TD4 Auto, Privacy, Santorini with Tundra & Alpaca, Cold Climate Pack. Traded for Discovery Sport HSE Auto.

Thanks for all your help guys, all sorted now. You do indeed have to push buttons on both sides. That will teach me not to look properly Laughing Laughing

Thanks again
