Just about to collect new FR2 SD4 XS, replacing an RRS, before that a disco3 then disco2. Progress or what !

Hi, I am new to this forum but have been on the RRS forum for a few years, I sold my Range Rover Sport a few months back and purchased my dream car a 5 litre Jaguar XK Portfolio, love the car but it's the most impractical car when you need to carry
anything (like going on holiday) and SWMBO is not its greatest fan!
We have now reached agreement that I can keep my Jag but I have to get another larger car, so having been a Land Rover fanatic for the last 40+ years the obvious solution was to buy another Land Rover and I think the Freelander will fit the bill perfectly.
I am thinking about a 2010/2011 HSE auto so will be spending plenty of time researching over the coming weeks.

Had my Freelander 2 for about a month now. Found this site & it looks very useful & friendly, so I am now a newbie.

Had an 06 plate Freelander 1 TD4 & grew to love it, so always aspired to the Freebie 2. Now I have one and I'm chuffed to bits. It's an early model, but with low mileage, so I hope I don't have to use this forum for anything expensive.

Hi everybody.

My Defender Puma was in for a service and they lent me a Freelander 2.

Well, it was so good I bought one!

It's like a mixture of the best of my Subaru Legacy and Defender, very civilised with off-road capability. Let's see if I'm as impressed in a year's time!

Going to have a look at a few HSE's, 2008-2010 vintage, less than 40,000 miles in the very near future. What should I be looking out for? Would appreciate advice from the experience of the members on this forum. Thanks in advance.

To paint the front grill body colour does the whole front bumper have to come off?

Well I'm not a newbie to the forum but finally a newbie to actually owning a Freelander2 picked up last night and chuffed to bits. I've wanted one of these since the FR1.
Not knowing a great deal about cars but thanks to scouring this form I compiled a list of things to look out for when purchasing which I checked off to the best of my abilities and ended up with this beauty.
