One quote so far from E H Douglas of 」400+vat , 6 hours labour and they have done around 60 repairs to vehicles so far and originally were charging 12 hours labour!! Black FL2

Seems pretty reasonable to me. If they've done 60 odd vehicles, they sound like they know what they're doing.

If you do a search their seems to be a large variation, from 」400 at TVLR which is a highly respected Land Rover Service Centre to 」1200 at an Indy |

Thanks for that....so 」400+vat and a loan car included sounds a fair price then.....the freelander has now become my car so it will only cover around 5,000 miles a year now instead of 20,000 miles a year the wife was covering in it so hopefully after this repair it will last me a few years Black FL2
