auto power fine

To you latest question ….. I'd say that the power in the auto is excellent and gear changes extremely smooth. Life is not a dress rehearsal!

I'm pretty sure the 0-60 is faster with the Auto unusually.

United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Lago Grey

Auto and manual are fairly similar on acceleration, but if you're really bothered about 0-60 times you're probably looking at the wrong car! The FL2 is the best in its class by far off-road, but the consequence of that is that it's not the best handling car on the road. Depends where your priorities are - if you want a 4x4 there's none better for the money.

The main differences between auto and manual are fuel consumption, and whether you prefer the manual or the auto driving experience.

Well we are in the market to replace ours when we return from France! The main thing for me it has to be an auto, excellent off road, have auto lights, wipers and parking sensors!
Above all it has to tow our caravan well, and be able to annoy Chicken farmers!

Will almost certainly go to our local LR dealer, as we get such good service from them at sensible costs.

Also looking to part ways with our beloved Disco 1, as we do less than a 1000 miles in her each year! Still tows the caravan like a train though! 1998 300TDi Auto Disco, never to be forgotten.

If the Disco 1 tows like a train, the D4 will how like a rocket.
