Silent indicators, why?

My wife's 2011my Freelanders indicators no longer make a clicking / ticking noise when they are switched on. They flash and operate perfectly but are now silent, does anyone know why or know of an easy fix before I visit the dealer? Thanks, 2010 TD4e S manual Alaska White - Gone

Did it make the warning sound when you switch the engine off, take the key out, let the lights on and open the door?
If not, it may be the internal speaker/buzzer.
A few quids at any electronic store.
