Today my dealer called me and told me that the reason for the quick delivery was that he ordered the car without the diesel Filter.

Past one yesterday which was my dealer, who has one as a demo. I am going for a test drive tonight as hopefully will replace my manual one with it. Will let you all know what she drives like. |

Well, went for the spin in the auto and obviously not quite like driving a manual, usual thing of being in too high a gear for the approaching bends, so feels like understeer as you wallow round the corners!!. Mind you this was on twisty back roads. Mentioned this to the salesman - good lad Brett avid Landrover boy - who suggested if you put it into sport mode and the command shift (which will give a higher revving drive) it drives more like a manual. If you reach the rev limit the auto box then takes over and changes up for you, silky smooth - quite impressed Once got the hang of the command shift to change up/ down whilst reading the digital gear display you feel like you are driving the manual but with smoother gear change. Turbo is tuned to give a 15% additional boost to compensate for the auto box which also gives you a quicker 0-60 time, not that I shalll be doing a standing quarter mile at Santa Pod Raceway!!
