Today my dealer called me and told me that the reason for the quick delivery was that he ordered the car without the diesel Filter.

The factory had called my dealer to ask if it was a must to install the filter, because there seemed to be problems with the certification or something. It would have taken another month of waiting if I would have insisted that filter on my car.

I di not even know that I could order it without the filter and if I had known I would certainly have lost the thing because it reduces the power of the car with 6HP.

I am very glad now!!!

ADVICE FOR FUTURE ONWERS: LOOSE THE FILTER: IT WILL ONLY GIVE YOU A SLOWER CAR!!!

The auto is very nice to drive indeed. Had my first go in one yesterday. Very slick when using command shift and IMHO no noticeable difference between it and the manual version.

drove 1 week and i am absolutely in love with this car. it is more than perfect. auto is perfect.

I let al of my friends drive the car and they all agree with the perfect behaviour.

Conclusion: FL2 drives even better than it looks....

I did not drive at top speed, but i am going to try this weekend...

Past one yesterday which was my dealer, who has one as a demo. I am going for a test drive tonight as hopefully will replace my manual one with it. Will let you all know what she drives like. Razz

Well, went for the spin in the auto and obviously not quite like driving a manual, usual thing of being in too high a gear for the approaching bends, so feels like understeer as you wallow round the corners!!. Mind you this was on twisty back roads. Mentioned this to the salesman - good lad Brett avid Landrover boy - who suggested if you put it into sport mode and the command shift (which will give a higher revving drive) it drives more like a manual. If you reach the rev limit the auto box then takes over and changes up for you, silky smooth - quite impressed Thumbs Up Once got the hang of the command shift to change up/ down whilst reading the digital gear display you feel like you are driving the manual but with smoother gear change. Turbo is tuned to give a 15% additional boost to compensate for the auto box which also gives you a quicker 0-60 time, not that I shalll be doing a standing quarter mile at Santa Pod Raceway!!

I was that impressed I got back and changed the 'buy back' order from a replacement manual to a replacement auto which should be ready mid July. In the meantime will enjoy driving my manual until change over day. Thumbs Up Be sorry to see the old FL2 manual go Big Cry Big Cry
