That's good advice. Many on here can split the key open but not many can solder a battery onto a circuit board. I'd try to do it with my MIG welder. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

Talk of the devil - my fob has started getting just about 2 'blips' before needing to be charged so it's new battery time for me now. Have you got a battery part number / eBay item number for the battery? Oh, I promise not to use my mig welder. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

Great video. Did you check the voltage of the old battery, was it knackered or was it the poor circuit board connection that was the problem?
