I have installed a bluetooth usb adapter connected to the aux port. I do have an ipod connectivity module which hardwires my phone to the existing stereo , however members of my family have androoid phones and they sometimes want to stream music to the head unit. I have connected a 12v to 5v USB adapter onto the front aux socket (ignition powered) using piggyback spade connectors. The usb lead runs under then handbrake console towards the aux socket. Due to an earlier mod (retrofit TOMTOM) the aux socket was pushed out but remained LIVE under the consol . Using an aux audio lead i have plugged the bluetooth adapter into the aux port. This is all hidden behind the rear audio control module.

It sounds like you work for NASA! But the set up sounds amazing. I think I'm going to use a bluetooth receiver via the Aux for which is a cheap fix and allows me to have the iphone sitting in the 'pen tray' as like most, I don't trust the sat nav.

That doesn't look too complex actually. I might see if I can get someone to take it on! |

I think all cost little over a Tenner . I got a 12v to 5v step down converter with 2 female usb connecters , so i have a spare socket should any other mods be needed! |
