Hi everyone. I have seen my LR2 waiting at the customs so should be with me in a few days. The only problem is that instead of a dark eucaliptus strip at the facia (that's what I 've ordered) it has the silver one. Does anyone know if it is easy to change that to wood (can I order a replacement or accessory), is it a DIY job or is it prone to abusing the facia? |

I'd keep the silver one (pixel metallic) . IMHO, it looks miles better than the plastic wood!

Land rover has its own customs place here. Before paying out the full amount I wanted to make sure that everything is ok. Is that bad? |

If you really want the wood then the dealer can add it later as it is also available as an accessory. Just requires a hot hair-drier to remove the pixel strips and then the new bits are held on with more HD sticky pads. How can carbon have a footprint, it has no feet?

I absolutely agree with you ej. Only option for me would be to change the whole plastic bit which has the wood imitation factory glued. I just don't know how easy it is to change this plastic bit. |
