Alpine Dolby Prologic CD system option

Hi,
I am a bit confused with the options description for the Alpine Dolby Prologic system in Land Rover's site and the i6 HSE version of the car. They list two identical options (Alpine audio system with Dolby Pro Logic II 7.1 surround sound) with different prices for each one. To make it even more complicated they say they give both as standard on the HSE. I have ordered mine (HSE) with an option for Alpine surround coded 025KL.
Could anyone clarify things a bit for me?
thanks

I was also confused by the 2 prices. There is only one Pro Logic stereo available and it does come as standard on the HSE. The two different prices are based on an upgrade from different models. It will cost more to upgrade to this stereo from an XS than an SE for example. If you look in the brochure, you'll see the upgrade options are linked to certain models.

Hope this makes sense!

BG

over here in Belgium, the Pro Logic isn't standard on the HSE , so you allways have to pay for it Sad
Xenon headlights on the contrary are standard on the HSE Cool
and that are not the only differences between the HSE over here en in the UK

Hi.

Same as here in Portugal.

Non-standard on HSE: bi-xenons adaptative (bi-xenons are standard), GPS, sunroof, Alpine Dolby Prologic.

And BTW, the 2 prices on the Alpine option are correct. One is for upgrade from "SE" and the other from upgrade from "HSE".

So, in order to get the full potential out of the Prologic system do you have to have specially recorded cd's, or does it electronically convert stereo recorded ones to 7.1?

I have the system that is standard in SE (premium) and it's just great.
No need to spend extra bucks on the dolby, I would rather use that money to get the beautiful exhaust trim and the spoiler (at the back end) from the body kit. Anyone knows if this spoiler can be obtained separately and if so what the price is ?

Hi!

I am thinking of buying that diesel HSE model..but i was wondering would it be worth of that 2000e or what was it to get this Pro Dolby system.

I drove the HSE model and was quite impressed with the sound (without Pro Dolby) so can somebody who has heard both of these options, tell me that what was the difference?

Its quite expensive but if it would be like enormous difference then it's for a sure an option.

Thanks.

I didn't buy it. Seems to me too much money for a sound effect that i will not use
