Freelander 2 - Noise From Engine Bay - Help Please

Hi there guys, first post on here so go steady with me. I've had my Landrover Freelander 2 (08 Plate) for around two years now, during which time she's performed without any issues at all. And without doubt, this is the best vehicle for pounds I have ever purchased

However, I was coming home from work tonight and I noticed quite a loud noise coming from the engine bay. At first I though it was the radiator fan because the catching noise was coming from the front of the engine. After a little more investigation I discovered the part which was causing the problem!! The issue I have got, is I have no idea what it is? Can someone please tell me?? Attached are the two pictures of the bit!!!!!

Thanks Guys
All the best Darren

Thanks guys certainly looks like the throttle unit and not to expensive according to ebay, the pictures seem to match, with it been right at the front end of the engine block not to far from the radiator fan.
