No ideas for a cure but mine does it too! Not every time but frequently. I've lived with it for over two years now and it's got no worse and done no damage so hey ho! Ours - 2008 Stornoway Grey HSE Auto

I've contacted Caffyns now so i'll see what they say. It may be due to the way the pads wear! I'll let you know what they say. |

Well I'm almost glad it's not just mine. It not causing any problems it's just an annoying noise for myself and anyone around the car at the time. And I personally associate it with an unmaintained car which it isn't.

Well......maybe, if I can get a good deal on a D4. Seen a V.nice Ipanema Sand HSE at a Stafford dealer that ticks all the boxes.

Mine does it too infrequently. Get Caffyns to have a look - at least you will get a free valet and a tin of LR travel sweets |

Mine too but it has only just started doing it. That said, I know that the rear pads are nearing end of life so maybe once changed the problemette will go away. |

mine didn't do it, but since having my rear breaks and shoes replaced last june, the squeek appeared a few months later, there doesn't seem to be any resistance when reversing and i dont drive miles in reverse so not looked further, it also only squeaks just as i take my foot off the gas to apply the break, but not as i break |

Just back from my local dealer and the problem has been fixed. It turned out to have been an issue with the handbreak!
