Been looking at the OSF door trim and with info downloaded from the site thought I`d give it a go.

Surprised that LR only offered 50%, I had a gearbox changed three months out of warranty. |

Waitey1, the slot at the bottom is your starting point. A flat blade screwdriver will enable you to lever it towards you/up and then off. It clips on with little ridges all round and they are pretty tough.

Well I managed to break whatever plastic "rivets" that secure the door pocket in removing the door card. The speaker could have been next so I retreated and replaced the card.

Yes I am sure that this is correct. The Johnson motors fitted to these locks are obviously not up to the job. I have searched all over for replacement brushes but found nothing similar. Couldn't find the "cheap Chinese equivalent" mentioned in one of the write ups. So we need someone with an in on obtaining Johnson motors. Silver 2009 HSE |

OSR door lock has failed, Johnson motor actually completely destroyed one of the brushes, spent hours looking for a replacement motor. Finally bit the bullet and contacted local LR dealer in Chester. Have you got one in ? "yes sir 19 in stock"

After breaking the plastic "rivets" securing the door pocket I had the lock replaced by my local garage. I post to mention that Trim Craft, Halifax, successfully refitted the pocket using a modern adhesive at no charge.
