hi I replaced both my rear shocks last year rear passenger side was leaking bought two from eurocarparts had sale on was able to remove without removing lower arms was harder to remove trim inside to get to top of struts have to remove trim complete to get to top of struts.i did notice one looked newer could have been changed before.no harm just replacing one though.tip don't put trim back on till yove got car back on ground and taken for test drive nuts may need tightening up again.tools; allen keys ring spanner torque wrench big hammer ps I did not remove trim on boot near lock managed to manipulate trim off.told if you remove lower arms tracking needs redoing |

Allow yourself a Couple hours a side trim inside car a pain but do-able |

Did you use the same rubber gaiter?

Yes you will need spring clamp i used old rubbers seemed to fit back better than when i took them off |
