Leaking rear shock absorber

Hello,

Has anyone replaced one? Do have to remove the lower arms from the hub assembly or can you drop it enough to remove the shock? Is it ok just to replace the one or should I do an axle?

Thanks

Pete

Did you use the same rubber gaiter?

On the leaking shock the rubber just slides up easily to expose the shock. On the other side it appears to be attached at the bottom somehow. I am not sure if my gaiter has been damaged in some way.

I will need to get hold of some spring compressors as well.

Thanks
