Rear Pdc Problem

My rear sensors stopped working properly the other day, sometimes I get the single tone at start up , other times everything is fine and it works ok, I had it tested on a diagnostic system and came back with rear right inner sensor intermittent fault which I have had changed (looking from the rear) but still get the same fault reading can anybody tell me if it is right looking front to rear or rear to front

I can't give you the definitive answer, but left and right is normally from the perspective of the driver sitting in the car. Thus on a UK car right is offside and left is nearside. So it sounds as though you changed the correct sensor.

It could be faulty wiring somewhere, or if you're unlucky a fault in whatever box of electronics the sensors connect to.

That's how I would see it also. Fault code for 'rear right inner' sensor is B1B46-01 so if that was the code it was the correct sensor.

Not much help for you I realise, but I have almost exactly the same problem.

Single tone on start up and disabled sensors (front and rear).

Diagnostics shows failed right rear sensor, which has been changed twice to no avail.

Have reconciled that it is the box of electronics in the boot that has had it - just need to source a replacement.

I assume I can just plug in a new control module? Or does it need to be coded to the car?

Finland
wirings

Check the wirings before touching to parking aid ecu. What year model you got? Ive got 07, and my front pdc stopped working. Fault was on wiring, corrosion. Replaced wiring and all fine.

You find parking aid ecu on rear leff quarter of boot load, under the sidepanel. There is one power pin and front pdc and rear pdc connectors, pending if you have both. But first try change the sensor harness or test it
