1275GT factory OE fit was definitely pressed steel wheels they had pressed spokes with the intermediate quadrants in semi Matt black, the rest was a silver paint. So yes in memory they sort of looked like an alloy. 4.5J x10; the last ones may have had 12 inch wheels with black plastic big hub caps .

I used to specialise in rebuilding the classic mini ex write offs. I bought cars 1-2 years old and did a total of 36 of which many I reshelled and a few I joined fronts of one to rears of another ; ahhhhh happy days of youth!

Nobody worried about cut n shut then and no Cat C or D.
