I now have a 63 plate, and can't find a way of turning down the painfully loud (to rear passengers) reverse beeps... Any ideas please?.. |

try reversing to an object so the beeps sound, then alter the radio volume as they are beeping. At work

On my MY13 turn radio off, reverse till you set off the parking beeps then adjust the volume using the volume control for the radio on the dashboard, the one on the wheel makes no change in volume. FL2 HSE SD4, black, privacy glass, spoiler, 19' diamond cut alloys. |

Nope - radio on or off, engine on or off, no amount of twiddling or button pressing seems to make a change... mind you it seems to have learnt to turn the sensors off when there is a trailer attached without being programmed by the stealer... 2000 Xei 1.8 gone

Tried the PDC volume control tip from vodkachaser today - ie radio off, beeps being heard in reverse and you can then control the volume via the control on the radio itself - never knew about that, so thanks for the tip. Not sure if it is in the FL manual or not, haven't checked but good to know all the same. The screen says something like 'PDC volume' Thanks! 2016 BMW X3 30d SE in red
