Make sure you take up Land Rover's offer of a complimentary 1/2 day experience where you'll find out a lot more about the Freelander and hopefully discover the SatNav isn't that bad. |

I bought a used (2010) Freel 2 from a LR dealer in January - would I qualify for the LR Experience offer or is it only 'new' car sales? |

They didn't when I changed mine for an ex-demo. According to the dealer (Lakeland Cumbria), they only send them out on new registrations. Fortunately, my previous 62 plate was a new purchase, so I got to go the year beforehand. Some Dealers still have a (small) stock of the old style vouchers which they might give you. Believe LR may be about to expand the Experience Voucher scheme to include those who have purchased a pre-owned vehicle from a Dealer but.......... |

If you can prise them from your other halves steely grip you can use Tesco Clubcard vouchers to pay for half a day at an LR Experience Centre.

Bought my 2008 HSE from Carrs LR in Truro two years ago and got a voucher. Took it back for service 12 months later and got another! Tried an Evoque on the second one. They're good to drive, particularly since you can't see the ugly brute when you're driving it. Ours - 2008 Stornoway Grey HSE Auto

The LRE Voucher system changed last year when LR started to issue them direct when customers bought a new LR or RR. Dealer issue vouchers were supposedly withdrawn at the same time but some are still being given out (and accepted by LR Admin).

Stick with the Nav, it's not as bad as some say, just spend a couple of hours with the Nav manual and it works a treat. |

Thanks Charliecloud, getting more used to the satnav now, and it's not as bad as first thought. |
