I took out land rover extenced warranty this year for my 2008 freelander.

I had to use it this month because of an issue with the car missing during the heavy blowing rain. happened a few times during extreme rain.
Booked into dealers had diagnostics done. fault found to be water getting into the air intake pipe. the air intake was replaced.
have to say it was a great service dropped car off was given a courtesy car. Collected my car 2 days later nothing to pay.

My extended warranty is about to run out, recently got a renewal doc through direct from LR and there is no mention of 5 years and 75,000 miles for the 'extended' which I've a heard a few people quote. Only says less than 10 years old and under 100,000, then for 'select' is any age but less than 100,000 miles? Is this the same warranty, or are there actually 3 levels, an 'approved'?

Quoting £795 for extended and £505 for select. Anybody else had prices? Are otherl warranty company's better value etc? LR's seem to be managed by Car Care Ltd.
