United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Auto Stornoway Grey

Yes, fuse blew again this morning so checked fuel filler cap lock and it's not engaging. Must be that then! Currently waiting for local LR dealer to phone back to tell me what they are going to do about it. Annoying as it's just a £20 or so part but not confident of replacing it myself. Have read that it can be done without having to take wheel and arch etc. off, but can't work out how to get the thing out!
Cheers

2011 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Auto Galway Green

Its my turn today. Unlocked the car this morning, climbed in, started the engine, & the dashboard display, said, tailgate open. Climbed out again, locked it, & it unlocked itself straight away!
Now at dealer getting a new switch fitted.

I tried the fuse thing and it worked very well. The fusebox is under the dash board of passenger seat. fuse in LR2 is found fused. and so i replaced it , tailgate works like butter on bread....
