My tailgate/boot lid is having problems.

A few of us have had a similar problem. It usually starts with the tailgate latch not working by hand but ok on the Fob, then the tailgate opens on its own without any help from you. Also the rubber of the latch freezing solid in the winter because of the water in the switch but I doubt you will have that problem.

Mine keeps unlocking it's self, but they are on back order with Landrover-I've been waiting 4wks for one. |

At first check the fuse F25 in the fuse box-passenger compartment

hi i had same problem just had the handle changed they said it was a common fault |

Mine did the same. Into the stealer who replaced the catch - mind you took them 2 hours! |

My tail gate has started to unlock its self randomly over the past few weeks and refuses to lock again for about four or five attemps of slamming it shut!! |

Its normal, cold weather freezing the water behind the rubber, its days are numbered. |

Just had my first tailgate hickup with my FL2. Thanks for the fuse advise, I am happy man again! Its better to burn out than to fade away |
