The parent and child ones are better, others get upset when you park in them and you and your twenty eight year old son get out.

On supermarket parking... what flabbers my gast is when I park in a virtually empty supermarket car park, come out to find some ar sehole has parked RIGHT NEXT to me, with barely room to get a thin whippet through... Do these people think you have to fill up in fu king SEQUENCE?  ...

I wish I had taken a photo now, but one day last week I stayed on late at work and was the last one out of the car park except for parents arriving to drop off their children at an evening event (I work in a school). I found an old Jag parked next to mine a very wonky angle with about 1 foot from its rear to my car - couldn't even park straight, let alone take a space in any of the other 30 or so spaces apart from the one next to mine.

I was considering getting out with my phone to take a photo, only to find another car pull up and park across the front of both of the parked cars, including mine. They started to get out but I then flashed my lights to point out I was about to leave - they had the whole of the rest of the car park to park in.

Then on my way out I had to stop for someone else coming in the exit of the car park, against a pair of no entry signs! 2016 BMW X3 30d SE in red

Yep, it drives you INSANE what stupidity people get up to in car parks.

The other thing is (and, sorry an' all, but it's often wo men... ) people who treat the car park as part of the fu ing road network and insist that 30 MPH is perfectly ok in a crowded carpark, with cars reversing, trollies, OAPs etc etc... MAD.. Some people just plough on as if there's no risk at all. Unbefuc inglievable.

It must be some kind of "Well, I've got 'right of way'... RIGHT OF WAY, a most magnificently overused concept. Used in righteousness, regretted in sorrow ... I don't see how precious right of way is when you've just killed an OAP, rammed a Jag and taken out a lorry load of Greggs pasties...

Everytime I go to the supermarket I always aim for at least a two bay space and park my wheels on the white line thus 'hoping' anyone with even half a brain would realise that the resulting gap is too small - never happens you can guarantee someone will squeeze into the gap - missus isnt best pleased when i have to reverse out to let her get in! Now - 2017 BMW X3 M Sport Carbon Black

On occasions if there is no space then I have parked in the 'parent/child' space, it's just that the opportunity wasn't there when mine were young so I make up for it now with no guilt.

In my local Tesco in Southam, the inability of the towns residents to park properly is beyond the pale. Having had to get the wife's Astra repaired 3 times, I now drive into the nearest Disabled Bay without ANY ounce of guilt. The Store Manager knows that I do it, as we have jointly had to review CCTV on more than one occasion to trace "drive-offs", and he has no problem with it..he shares my frustration. Recently, I have taken to parking in bays in Homobase that are reserved for "others" without compunction. Sod 'em all!  Foraging near Gaydon....
