I considered what was available, didn't like the look or the prices and in the end took some steel wool and Autosol to the existing stainless pipe. Came up a treat! John

Try one of these eBay Item No. 260959793110 on ebay, the number is a couple of years old but still shows the item, it's an OEM bit don't know if the seller still has them available but i think they were over a £100 at the dealers. the trouble with those single non LR types shown on here is the single tail pipe rear box points downwards and will look naff. This type fits over and although the gas pipe is still pointing down the trim looks as if it's straight. I hacksawed off about 2 ins to get it to fit closer to the car body ( Ithink they were meant to go with the sport trim lower bumper). MY14 TD4 manual XS Orkney grey.

Personally, I think the oem add on tail pipe adornment looks naff too. It looks like a bolt on thats gone wrong and when you start the engine and any visible emission comes out a hole on the bottom rather than the obvious exit it just looks even worse. But hey ho, each to their own, if we all liked the same the world would be a boring place! |
