Standard to signature headlights

Is it possible to do a straight switch from standard headlights (2012 Freelander 2 model) to the LED signature headlights?

If not how much work is entailed?

I'm also wanting to do this conversion. A search on this forum does bring up a guide on how it can be done but it sounds a little too complicated for me to try.
