Hi All
I've had a search through the forums and there seems to be some conflicting information on what oil to use both in brand and if your FL2 has a DPF.
Our TD4 is 2010 and according to the VIN has no DPF, it seems that the following is recommended:
Castrol Magnatec 5W30 / A1 B1 or A5 B5
I bought 8 Litres of oil for my Audi only to find out its under a service plan whereby the oil is provided for free, its been sitting in the garage since. The oil is:
Castrol Edge 5W30 FST / B3 C3
The spec says Diesel and Petrol, do we think it would be okay to use with the non DPF TD4?

Use the recommended oil. There are different specs because there are different tolerances inside engines.
