Led lights

I'm wondering how many existing Land Rover owners like, or would choose, the led lights that seem to adorn more recent LR models? Shocked

To me current led designs are both lary & distracting. I do hope LR will find some less blingy light designs by the time I replace my FL2 in 2015/16! Life is not a dress rehearsal!

I like them too and they do get noticed by other drivers - win-win on looks and safety IMHO Very Happy

LEDs get my Thumbs Up for safety, at least you can see the car coming towards you. Some car drivers do not use their lights in bad light conditions, some never use their lights on the motorway when conditions suggest otherwise and they are a risk to safety on the road and other road users.

Surely we shouldn't be compromising the amount of light we get to see by? After all, we are primarily responsible for our actions, which are informed by what we can see. So to me, led lights and the pretty patterns that we can make with them should not detract from the most efficient headlights available.
I'd love to take todays nightbreaker unlimiteds and put them in the pair of Cibie Z beam lensed headlamps I had on my 900 Ducati. Awesome headlamps at the time, really focused with no scatter at all!
