I use my 5s in the same way using the 30pin adaptor to the lightning connector. I moved the ACM box down the centre console and ran the wires up through my wood company armrest |

The USB is used for USB stick with mp3 files , trouble is files can't be displayed on radio , so pretty useless really . Thats why I used connection to power Tom Tom |

If you've got unlimited data , as on Three its a great way to get digital radio to your car using tune-in radio app. |
