As now, with the FL2, X3, Evoque, etc, it'll depend what you want the car for. If you want a style statement to drive to the supermaket buy the Jag/Evoque/X3. If you want a 4x4 to use as such buy the Disco/FL2 - in that role it'll still be far superior. |

To the OP there is a lot of pieces online about the new Jaguar 4x4. Looking at the comments on your link they date from 2012 at the earliest. The link below shows more if you are interested.

We saw the body panels back in September at Halewood, mentioned on these two threads. A few we suspected were covered over from prying eyes, one being driven through the factory, a few days later I saw two heading down the M40 south of Gaydon on a Transporter.

Wow - the rules about what constitutes a 'general' post and an 'off topic' one must be pretty specific if a discussion on a replacement car, by the same manufacturer, in the same segment and at the time of model change doesn't qualify. |
