Land Rover don't make clutches - they buy them. I think they use Valeo clutches, but maybe others as well. John

hi have a look under clutch cost on here I paid £1100 clutch kit dmf and rear cranckshaft oil seal fitted at local indie.if you tell your local dealer they may price match mine did for timing belt and came close to price for complete clutch fitting .only diff with indie you don't get car washed and vac and a list of things that need doing |

Hi thanks for the replies. I'm quite happy to go to the indie but thought if they used non genuine parts then it might work out a bit cheaper. I have looked through the forum and people have got them from ebay etc... but no mention of make. If valeo are used by the dealer I guess that's the one to go for.

Recently had a clutch changed in a 10 reg FL2 with only 45k on the clock. Independent charged me £670 and said that the DMF was fine and didn't need changing (would have been about £390 extra).
