Time for some new tryes (235 65 17). Existing Continental AT's are down to 2mm in centre but still have 5mm+ on outsides, odd ware pattern and they haven't been over inflated? they have done about 33k so far, so not too bad ware wise. I can't make up my mind whether to just get a new set of these or go for GG at's. I do need good off road mud grip and the Continentals have been good for this. The GG's may well offer better ware and be quieter on road but I am worried about their off road performance. Had a set of oversize GG AT2 fitted to my 1st FL2 are these were good offroad but had a more open tread pattern than the new GG AT.

If I got 33,000 miles out of a set of tyres on my FL2, I'd have another set of the same! |

When I swapped mine I was going down the same route but in the end I fitted Mitchelin Lattitude Cross and so far have been very pleased with them |

Getting the GG AT for swmbos later this year once the Wintracs get a bit lower, I run the GG AT on my D3 and cannot fault them. Did look at the conti cross AT they do look a good tyre think they fit them as standard on the defenders as I have seen some in dealers with them on. |
