Evoque with blue lights and sirens!

I have just been passed in Yate, South Glos, by a white 63 plate Evoque with blue lights behind grill and two tone siren. No other markings on it! Was certainly belting along with the siren screaming and the blue lights flashing!

I wonder which emergency service it belongs to? 1998 300TDi Auto Disco, never to be forgotten.

I'd imagine it would be a police car. No need for fire or ambulance vehicles to go incognito. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto
Evoque SD4 Dynamic Lux Auto
Present: Audi A3 S Line.

NHS managers, doctors and paramedic incident managers can kit out their own cars and run blues. So likely to be one of them.

Usually they are also used as personal vehicles so have to be unmarked. 2013 FL2 - Black Edition Auto

One of the guys over on babyRR.com works with the fire service and has a red Evoque dynamic Question with full blues and twos behind the grill. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

I thought doctors and the like had green lights?

Or have I just made that up?

Check the regulations, under discussion in parliament this week. None of the groups you mention are allowed blues and twos! 1998 300TDi Auto Disco, never to be forgotten.

As far as I know the only civilian who is allowed to use "Blues and Twos" is the secretary of an RNLI lifeboat station as he/she is usually the launch authoriser.

Fire Service Officers will often have blue lights in the grill, but if responding to incidents they should have a roof light mounted. Something to do with the blue lights being visible through 360 degrees.
Before I retired I had flashing headlights, grille lights and 2 Tones on my car. Blue flashing roof light had to be put on when on route to an incident.
