clutch slipping at times.....99,000 miles

The clutch has started slipping at times on my wifes Freelander, it is still on the original clutch so cant complain, what other parts are required/best to be changed??

The DMF needs a close inspection while the gearbox is out - probably best to replace it. The clutch hydraulic slave cylinder is also a must to replace as you need the gearbox out for this as well. You don't need to pay dealer prices for the parts. Cast around on ebay, Paddock Spares etc. John

I had my rear oil seal done not long back..... same job to get to it..... cost about 750 all in ... checked clutch and dmf but left it as that could have added 2 to 300..... be warned.
