Has anyone ever used/fitted the pre cut window tints? Considering buying a set for my rear passenger windows and rear window...they cost roughly £40 per kit.

Sound easy enough to apply but not sure if it will last.

Just bought a spray can of glass tint/opaque effect for increasing security on windows of some outbuildings and thought it might also work well on automotive glass. So I got a big can! Spray is fine until someone with a ring or two wipes it and scratches the surface. You then have the problem of getting it all off and starting again.

Sort of folk I have in my vehicle don't wear rings! But it could happen just as easy with an ice axe.

Bought some window tint film to tint my own windows once. Peeled off the backing and, assisted by a bit of static electricity, it immediately clung to my whole upper body and face. Screwed it into a ball and binned it!  Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

Regarding the spray, I should think proper film would be much harder wearing. I have used film on my windows at home (not the same I know, but similar idea). It was fine except that I just wasn't good enough at getting them clean beforehand. Window must be really really clean, as every piece of dust, hair, etc, will show up under the film. (It looked sort of OK from a distance, and I sold the house, so what the h*ll).
