I know. It's very sad and I will miss it, but it's an extravagance that I can't afford, when I need something much more practical. |

It looks like it's got everything you need/want. It has a spoiler, which I would have to have if it was my car, the only other things I can think of are mudflaps and body side mouldings. But it looks great as it is!

24mpg and I've not been letting it rip! You're right, it became a very expensive ornament over the last 2 years as we spent all our time out in the Freelander It's a great car, it's just better off going to someone else now |

Hey Tigger, have been following your buying adventure with interest. Your choice looks great - much enjoyment to come. The green one that you mention at my local (Roger Young) has been on my "interest list" since Chris phoned me about it. Currently dithering with that old "should I - shouldn't I?" thing. Like you, I prefer manual over auto, but it is very nice.…. My dear old 57 SE still goes like a dream, looks immaculate, and - touch wood - has given me very little trouble since getting it from RY's in 2011 - only now coming up to 50,000 miles - so I'm finding it hard to justify the expense of change. Ho hum, a few more days of deliberation. Meanwhile, congratulations on taking the plunge - new motor looks good. Big smile ahead. |

Will the new car be doing similar mileage to the old car? Or will you be getting a company car? |

My choice is to take a company BMW 3 Series touring and do around 35,000 miles a year in it, or ask them to pay me an allowance to run my own Land Rover.
