I'm sure if you take it out, you'll love it. It's a great example.

My family have been out in the RS for the last time and Hunters will be driving the FL2 down on Wednesday the 15th, though we won't meet up until 7.30am on the 16th.

The Focus RS is a nice car, but it's completely hopeless for a trip back across Bodmin moor, in the dark and the rain, with pot holes and mud. And sheep. And cows.

What about "the beast" - any sign? |

Not tonight, but I never used to feel too comfortable when I used to cycle along some of the remote lanes on the moor at about 5am! |

Yep. Been there too - especially as a child. Memories of being scared witless if cycling in the moor at night and a vocal fox starts up. Very scary noise - good motivation to pedal faster (until, that is, you get used to it.) Never did see the beast though. |

Well Tigger, procrastination has had it's way… Delayed trying out the green one at R Y's - and, b…..r me, someone's been and bought it! Maybe inadvertent publicity via the forum, or maybe not… Whichever, it's made up my mind for me - save the money until absolutely necessary. Fate. Hope you enjoy yours when it finally arrives! |

Sorry you missed out on that one crockett. The choice is entirely yours, my friend, but personally I'd carry on looking quietly and choose another in your own time, rather than wait until the need becomes pressing with little time to choose the best car.

Got it in one John, no need to rush. Current "car" drives like a dream, but there will come a time…. Meanwhile, it's quite interesting looking. |
