It's the towing eye, but access is restricted by the plastic cover. To avoid damage to the cover it's best removed when using the towing eye. |

Very, just a quarter turn of the 2 knobs on each side of the plastic cover, and if off-roading it's suggested that you remove it before you start so that you don't have to grovel too much in whatever you've got stuck in when attaching the tow rope! |

Yup - stuck up to your axles in mud really isn't the time to realise you need to get the cover off! |
