Thanks that's now another item on the shopping list.
Did wonder how they would go on straight with the exhaust
Being angled.

2009 Freelander 2 TD4_e GS Manual Lago Grey

That link seemed to be a private sale - are these exhaust tips for sale from a LR dealer also? and do they fit a diesel?

United Kingdom 2010 Freelander 2 TD4_e GS Manual Sumatra Black

I'm pleased to find this thread as I have been considering what to do with my standard GS alloys. Like a few others I like the big tyre ruggedness of the smaller rims (I think they're 17") and wouldn't want to lose that. Also the standard wheel/ tyre is very comfortable and has enough rubber to throw it up kerbs etc without worrying about the alloys.

So I think 19/ 20" alloys which although they look cool are not quite for me. But the 18" Evoque look quite nice - are their any other LR 18" alloys I should consider? Also do you think I'd get similar comfort and alloy protection going up to a 17"?

evoques run on same sized rim but a slightly smaller sidewall on the tyre, you can fit the 'proper' size tyres on them to suit fl2,

so as your wanting a 'chunky' tyre evoque tyres are probably not for you, I personally think that this lack of side wall profile is noticeable and makes an flk2 look odd,, others vehemently disagree

I ran 18's on fl2 tyres and nobody managed to kerb them so 18s are a good compromise IMHO, ride was no different to the 17s I had previously At work

Crimsondonkey, I like these:

18" sparkle, standard on MY2013 HSE. Started on 17" wheels and when I moved to 18s the perception was a slightly firmer ride but still comfortable. Drove a Dynamic on 19s and that did feel noticably harder.

Sparkles do come up on ebay, but do vary in price. 2016 BMW X3 30d SE in red
MY2013 SD4 XS Firenze Red, 19" 10 spoke contrast paint wheels, Signature Strips, Grand Black Lacquer trim, Cold Climate Pack - gone!
2007 TD4 S Stornoway Grey - gone!

Well a nice set of 19" evoque take offs came up at the right price.
Ride seems unaffected and they give the freely a classier look.

Compare Carries car with this one, mav's old one, the 19" wheels for me make the tyres look flat, it's an awkward look that doesn't do anything for me.
