Did you spec these as extras J? Don't think the Dynamic has them but I've been told on here that the footwell lamps are already in place and that they just require the bulbs MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

You could be right Jim, I thought I felt a hole but closer inspection shows nothing there. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

Doh .... Just thought i'd swap out the interior bulb with the new led while waiting for the missus in the shop, led didn't light up properly either way around and now the old bulb doesn't work either.

Suspect the fuse has gone somehow as the footwell lights aren't working either, will have to hunt out the fuse box diagram and find which fuse it is - oh and get a couple of spares in case it happens again Whistle

Any idea why the fuse would have went Question

Can't help with fuses, but do try to switch ignition on & off as this worked for me when swapping bulbs over.

All bulbs replaced - well except for the glove box, was one bulb short.

Interior light front and rear
lamp above sun visor driver and passenger
Footwell lamps driver and passenger
puddle lamps in bottom of both front doors
lamps in bottom of both door mirrors
Luggage area lamp
Rear number plate lamps x 2

Best tip I found was to angle the door mirrors up and inwards to reveal the removal clip, can be accessed with a good flat blade screwdriver

Main internal lights were a bit fiddly for me, dropped the led on the front one and it disappeared under the seat rail plastic cover, took me longer to get it out than replace all the bulbs LOL

No idea why the fuse originally blew, but left it out while fitting bulbs, inserted to test, removed so that I could swap bulb around and then reinserted - job done.

Note! With the interior fuse gone the door mirror and window controls on the driver door don't work.

Various bulbs replaced using LED ones from Fizzmo on ebay.

Thanks jimski for listing the specs, there are too many to pick from otherwise. Fizzmo do list a pack of 5 x W5W which is cheaper than 3 x a pair (5 did no plate lamps, footwells and glovebox). Found the boot lamp a bit loose but a slight bending of the tab tightened it. Interestingly the LED festoon bulbs work either way round.

Make the map lights look really yellow! Now looking to see if T4W LED bulbs (if that's the correct size) exist. 2016 BMW X3 30d SE in red
