Not exactly awash with ambiguity there then! Thanks! John. |

I'd be delighted to have either a '12 or a '13 at the minute!

Hi tigger not sure if you like white fl2's the dealer on our farm bought my nicely speeced gs off me and I think it would come in under your mentioned budget, it's a my 12, manual , xs electric seats, sunroof , 19 inch wheels, spoiler , privacy glass , arm rest pack, premium stereo , silver line trim , mud flaps and mats , led interior lights, 21000 miles he hasn't advertised it yet but I know some one was looking at it on Christmas Eve,

Tigger - understood about the twin headlights in the dark. I drive across country to work and am keen on good lighting. Xenons on the MY2013 are fine but bulb upgrades on halogens are effective as well. As to the phone keypad - didn't have the premium stereo in my previous Freelander but the MY2013 has a touchscreen keypad, etc for the phone once paired via Bluetooth - so should be just as usable/accessible. Depending on your phone it brings up your contacts and call logs as well. 2016 BMW X3 30d SE in red

Thanks for the suggestion Hicksy, but the 19" wheels would be a problem for me. Hope it finds a buyer quickly all the same! John. |

Xenons really are the perfect answer! I appreciate that bulb upgrades can be effective, but I normally wind up doing that even to the dual lamp equipped cars! The thing I like about the "physical" keypad, is it always being available, irrespective of what's on the screen at the time. |

With 13MY you have the SWYS system, just say the number. Works ok I've used it twice. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200 |

The other issue is that Land Rover have stripped out too much from the MY13 XS for my taste (electric seats / under mirror lamps / footwell lamps / map reading lamps / front parking sensors / auto dimming mirror etc), that it would need to be a MY13 HSE and that's way beyond my budget! |

I had the same issue, I always went for the GS but LR took a lot of the standard kit out so was just as well getting the XS by the time I speced it up. I was lucky enough that LR at the time were giving £2000 contribution and I always use the same salesman so he gave me a bit extra for the Evoque. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200 |

MY2013 XS has no foot well lamps, true. But a pair of 5W bulbs fixes that - all the wiring is there, just need to add the bulbs! Not a deal breaker I am sure.

That's funny that they only left the bulbs out! Worth knowing though...

Lr,nut yea my gs just had built holders and no builds , found that out by the folks on this forum , I then fitted LEDs to them and all the interior lights, I think at the time the footwell lights was around £90 option. |
