Hi - have only had my 2011 Freelander for a couple of weeks and took headlamps out today to update bulbs. Now noticed the headlight adjuster switch does not move the lights. Hadn't tried it before taking out the headlights ( was set to 0 ) so not sure if I'm missing something when I refitted them to stop it working

I think, but am not certain, that the headlight adjustment only works on dipped beams, not on main beam. |

Well think I've found the problem - stopped working again after changing the fuse so had a good look at the wiring connector that goes in to the back of the headlight assy. Where all the wires are uncovered for approx 2 inches where they go in to the connector on the passenger side headlamp one of them has obviously been hard against a metal edge of the bodywork and the insulation has been worn through so the bared bit of the wire can touch the body
