How do I tell if my car knows I have a webasto?

Hi guys, I have a webasto, and from what I understand, it should be operating under 5 degrees and will turn off once the engine has reached a temp of 15? degrees.

Mine however does not seem to be working, I called the workshop yesterday to see if I could book in a time to get it checked, however, no joy, they are booked up into next year.

Is there any way I can troubleshoot myself? by means of some OBD II device etc? I am worried that after my last service, they deactivated it by accident?

Functionality here: https://www.freel2.com/gallery/albums/user...Heater.pdf

When three consecutive no burn/flame are stored, the unit locks itself out and doesn't start anymore.
The faults/locks should be erased by a fault code reader as it doesn't erase its codes when removing power as other does, despite the fact that the manual states this.
Either a dedicated fault code reader or a generic CAN BUS code reader that could access the unit at its CAN ID = 0x7E3.

Thanks Alex, if there was anyone in here with enough knowledge on the FFBH, I knew it would be you mate.

I will churn through the PDF and get a better understanding. What OBD2 device will get me access to fault codes other than emissions? am I looking at a hawkeye or similar? or will a simple 327 do the job?

Thanks for the help again Alex, much appreciated mate.

From what I read on their site, the Hawkeye is able to access the FBH on Freelander 2 and read/erase its fault codes.

As for 327, the FBH is on the Medium Speed CANBUS which works at a speed of 125 kbps.
I don't know if ELM327 could be configured to read 125 kbps buses (it works by default on 500 kbps and 250 kbps, but for 125 kbps it's only a matter of a CAN clock divider), but if it would (at the programming level, I mean), then it will be OK too. It should be studied....

As per title, it should be looked into the Car Configuration File (CCF) and see there if the FBH is still enabled.
But with the dealer tools there is no possibility of deactivating it by mistake... Normally you can't access that location where it's configured. Only if you took additional measures/steps and normally you don't have the reasons to...
