Ok, ok - I was watching the cars not the captions!
How much wear on the ATs, just out of interest? In some of those shots they look more like slicks! But with all that wheelspin it's hard to tell - this outing was clearly more about fun than testing the cars, so it's hard to draw conclusions. |

The abandoned test had all cars on factory tyres. Nothing to be sceptical about. On the real rough stuff, the Fl2 is far superior. The rest are lacking because they had to compromise to enable decent on road and off road performance. Land a Rover products don't compromise which has a few issues elsewhere, like boot space etc. Fl2's is not as good as others. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. The Freely 1 & 2 have always been the best in their class If you ever look at the car reviews for both vehicles they always complain and body roll in them these idiotic presenters don't realise that it is a extremely capable machine off road and at times on roads mannerisms have to be compromised. Hopefully the future vehicles will have the same capabilities but I can see LR listening to these people complaining about body role and as a result they will make them less capable of road LR are already aware that only approx 10% of Freely's are taken off road regularly! "Factory tyres" doesn't mean anything, though. What were they? Were they actually similar in capability?
