Oh dear!

Went in to dealer as the FL2 finance finishes soon and came out having signed up for a new Evoque. Too expensive at first, but the price kept coming down until it reached a level where it caught my attention. It's the outgoing 2013 model which is presumably why I got a decentish deal. (The lovely Mrs. B. likes the Ewok).

It is a SD4 auto Pure Tech, with some extras, 20in alloys, panoramic sun roof, heated steering wheel, front fogs and probably some other bits which I can't remember.

JLR must be on a roll at the moment. In my cul de sac, there are 11 houses and four have Land Rovers. Two (soon to be) Ewoks, One FL2 and an RRS. 2013 RR Evoque Pure Tech

Not many arguments I win at home but so far have been able to win the one Evoque Vs FL2. Mostly due to price to be honest of the Evoque.

Can't argue they are a lovely car and drive very well.

Against the Evoque is the small capacity of the boot though but it does have the Si engine though

Enjoy your new car - a British one!

Thanks for the good wishes Doc and RichardK. Yes the boot is much smaller, but I only ever used the full capacity of the FL2 once when transporting my two aunts from Oz and their huge suitcases.

The Si starts at over £40k so just a bit too pricey for me. 2013 RR Evoque Pure Tech

I'm not going to say much, but the Evoque is a fantastic car. I just preferred my Freely.

I like them but I do need 4 doors and I'm really not convinced by that lack of rear window....

Nice one!

I'm still a bit on the fence with the evoque. I want to like it but am resistant for some reason. I like the shape - although I think it suits the bigger RRS more - and the interior looks a good step up from the FL2.
